Drs. Merritt, Corona, Abbott, and Merritt are board-certified ophthalmologists with fellowship training in oculoplastic surgery to treat conditions involving the eyelids, lacrimal system, and orbit of the eye for both adult and pediatric patients. Whether your needs are for the correction of medical conditions or for cosmetic enhancements such as eye and brow lifts, the doctors will listen to your concerns and go over all your treatment options. If you have questions about a specific condition or procedure, please feel free to call or schedule a consultation.

Cosmetic Eyelid Surgery

Surgical procedures and nonsurgical treatments to refresh and revive the appearance of the eyes by reducing wrinkles, lines, and sagging skin.

Tearing Disorders

A nasolacrimal duct obstruction blocks the natural passage of the tears in children and adults, which causes further problems left untreated.

Ptosis & Eyelid Malpositions

Ptosis repair surgery helps to restore droopy eyelids, often caused by a weak/separated muscle in the eyelid, for an improved appearance and vision.

Orbital Diseases

Oculoplastic treatments and surgeries can improve the problems caused by thyroid eye disease, as well as trauma and fractures to the eye socket.

Tumors & Reconstruction

Tumors of the eyelid and eye socket can be carefully removed for further testing, and the eyelid can be restored to normal function and appearance.

Eye Loss Management

When needed, oculoplastic surgery can safely remove a damaged eye and use an orbital implant to normalize the appearance of the eyes.

FAQ

Why Oculoplastic Associates of Texas?
One of the most critical milestones of cosmetic eyelid surgery is the doctor’s decision of where to place the pre-surgical marks on the skin. This determines where the incisions will be made. It requires an expert, experienced and artistic eye to ensure a pleasing result. The surgeons of Oculoplastic Associates of Texas are highly trained in handling these complications and are particularly meticulous in avoiding such problems when they perform cosmetic eyelid procedures.
